Developed over several years in collaboration with fellow psychologists, talent experts, business strategists and HR professionals, we have created a robust, evidence-based model of high potential - suitable for 21st Century.
Scouring more academic papers, articles, texts, reports and books than many a mere mortal would consider advisable, we dug deep to find the true nuggets of evidence that really explain why some employees have high potential, and why others would only be considered high performers.
What we found is that whilst personality, leadership competencies and experience are obviously important and useful in explaining high performance, alone they are not enough. Drawing on the latest science and talent research, our model goes beyond the obvious to really dig into whether your people have the potential to get to the top.
We answer the questions:
Do they have the mental agility and capacity to work at increasing levels of ambiguity and complexity?
Are they sufficiently driven to work past the personal knock backs and strive to make a difference on a larger scale?
Are they emotionally agile and robust enough to not only learn from experiences and feedback, but actively seek it out
