Ideal for new and aspiring leaders and those starting out in their management career, it covers all of the key transferable and interpersonal skills associated with ‘stepping up’. Covering everything your new Manager needs to know to lead, organise and motivate others, is also supports them in developing greater levels of self awareness and identify key growth priorities for this first stage in their career as a leader. Suitable for:

  • Aspiring leaders or those due to be promoted in a management role within the next 6 months

  • Supervisors/deputy team leaders

New Leader.

Perfect for those who are new into their first leadership role, and need to start getting to grips with the practicalities of leading their first team and delivering through others. Encouraging the development of a flexible approach to leadership, we cover all the core skills associated with leading teams, as well as practicalities such as how to run engaging meetings, providing feedback, and delegating. Suitable for:

  • New managers and leaders, within 3-9 months of their first leadership role

  • Existing managers and leaders who have never previously received formal leadership training and would benefit from developing their key people management skills and learning to deliver through others

Leading Leaders.

For new and aspiring Department Heads, Middle Managers and Group Leaders that are about to embark upon managing other managers or leading bigger teams. With a focus on both the mindset and practicalities with operating and a more strategic level, we cover the knowledge and technical skills needed to be an effective leader at this level and apply a more whole-business to their activities and decision making. Suitable for:

  • New or aspiring Department Heads, General Managers, Middle Managers or Group Leaders whom have responsibility for leading and managing more junior leaders

  • Existing Middle and Senior Level Leaders who have received little or no previous formal leadership training and would benefit from developing their strategic and change management leadership skills

Leading the Business.

Ideal for new and apsiring Senior Leaders and those who need to specifically development the knowledge and skills associated with leading the business. With a focus on taking a strategic view, stakeholder management, leading the business through times of uncertainty, building a high performance culture and advanced self management skills. Suitable for:

  • New or aspiring Senior Managers and Leaders operating at Departmental, Divisional or Exec level

  • CEOs of small organisations

  • Existing Senior Leaders who have received little or no previous formal leadership training and would benefit from developing the skills associated with effectively leading the business

Maria delivered the Leadership Development Programme for a mutual client who was subsequently then named in the 2013 Sunday Times top 100 places to work.

I have co-delivered the course with her and found her to be highly professional and knowledgeable. She demonstrates a high degree of expertise in management development. This is both in terms of explaining the theory of different models and techniques and in using a case study throughout the programme to creatively apply and embed the learning.

She is sensitive to the different learning styles and motivations of participants. In addition, her style is open and inviting to questions and creates a relaxed, safe learning environment. Maria is extremely enthusiastic about her work which is infectious. I certainly would recommend her for any assessment and development assignments.
